Judy Abrams has a career that has included education and experience in many different healing techniques. After receiving a BS in biology from Oberlin College, and a MS in entomology from Cornell University, she became a Peace Corps volunteer, and set up and operated malaria clinics on the Pacific coast of Colombia. When she returned to the US, she became a Physician Assistant, and worked for ten years in emergency medicine and family practice. During that time she studied acupuncture at Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California, and became a licensed acupuncturist in California and then in New York. While she was in practice in California, she completed an internship in Xiamen, China at a hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In 2000 Judy added neurofeedback to her practice. She has used this technique to treat neurological and psychological issues. Judy is still taking new neurofeedback clients but is not accepting new acupuncture or NAET clients. She is still seeing acupuncture clients she has treated in the past.
